Tech Tips?

Missionary Technology. We are currently enjoying a class with lots of hands on. We get to cut, strip and solder wires, test voltage, amperage, and continuity. Make little practical devices like a quarts halogen bulb holder, a pair of helping hands (which is nothing more than a couple aligator clips attached to movable arms to help hold small objects while soldering)and alligator clips for our Digital Multimeters. Plus we get to hold, use and learn about all kinds of cool gadgets that make missionary life a little easier. If all this sounds like something a science geek would like, you are probably right, but these are things that every missionary must deal with while living in a foreign country that is not as developed as here. There is something about sparks and smoke that make a class fun.
