Crazy Weather

Well we had a wild thunderstorm move through yesterday morning as we were getting ready for class. Lots of lightning and some incredible thunder, one crack of thunder actually made the windows rattle and it felt like the whole house shook. Later we found out why it was so loud.

As you can see the lightning struck a tree down by our classrooms. The trunk of the tree is blown into splinters. The spike of electricity ran down a phone line and destroyed some equipment in the technology center, other than that there was no real damage. Our house is about a quarter mile away from this tree. As powerful as that lightning and thunder was it pales in camparison to our awesome God. He made the lightning, WOW I can't even imagine.
