Things are going great

Hi everyone,

We finished another week of classes, we started biblical foundations, animism and composition. Composition will be done Monday and we will start some smaller classes, time management, money management then into a class called teaching skill/styles. We also will have a field fair this coming thursday and friday, it is when representatives from the different countries where New Tribes works share the needs of those fields. We are very excited to be exposed to some of the vast needs worldwide. Also we will spend a little time with the Carraways who are planning to leave for Cambodia next year. Please continue to pray with us as we are challenged by the needs around this world. Many students here don't know where they want to serve yet and this is a great opportunity for the Lord to challenge them to make a decision, some know where they want to serve and this is a great opportunity for the Lord to confirm and/or challenge them also. Saturday we went fishing and caught a big Bass (22 inches long and 6 lbs, picture below) and a snapping turtle. It was nice to just relax on the dock and enjoy the outdoors, also we get a chance to meet and visit with others who are fishing, swimming or just noticing the fish we are catching. It has been a good way for us to meet and build relationships. We have had the great privedge of sharing some of the fish we have caught with others here. We start our first night of outreach at the homeless shelter this thursday night, please be praying for that also. We have also decided to host a small group at the church we are going to, The Potters House, and we will have our first get together this week. Well that is it for now, thanks for stopping to visit.
